My son is a huge fan of the lego architecture, so this was a huge hit with him.
Great quality piece, clear instructions for construction and the details on the structure is fantastic.

I was never interested in the architecture sets (I am an adult lego fan) but I have a degree in Egyptology and classical civilization so I had to have this set. I actually bought two as you can make one complete pyramid with it. I really enjoyed the different aspects of the build of this and love the inclusion of the Nile and the building of the pyramid under the main structure.
For the record I go both sets for less than the RRP as they were on offer on Zavvi (£90) and Amazon (£95) which I think is a great deal for the set.

This is a great set and probably the best architecture set. While the price is a bit high for what you actually receive, half a pyramid and around 1400 pieces. But comparing this set with others that have a similar amount of pieces, like the technic F1 which also has around 1400 pieces but is priced at £170, the Pyramid seems more appealing, and its often on sale for around £100 which definitely makes this set worth it and has me considering buying a second one to have a fully complete pyramid.
Its a great set, a fun build and looks great on display too. It took me just over 4 hours to build. It’s not a very tall set (8 inches) but it is quite wide (14 inches) and has some nice detail like being able to take off the outer shell of the pyramid to see a bit of what the inside looks like.
As someone with an interest in ancient Egypt, I would recommend this set for anyone with a similar interest or for anyone that just wants a fun build that looks great on display.
