Typical of Lego design, well thought out and a good strong build, which although not demanding is satisfying. I like the pre-printed name-boards and header on the front of the engine. This really is a first class model!

my son is a real lego and train fun so this product was very excitting for him. It also helps to build his cognitive and motor skills and develop his imagination

very good product and creates the train and scene very well. think Lego have missed a trick in that the train is not powered up, though this can be done with some alterations.

This was a present for our grandson for Christmas ( aged just 8 ) by Boxing day he had made it with very little help and fortunately it runs on the same lines as the express train he already had.
Not sure how it would be for a child who didn’t have the lines.
He loved it.

It could have been done like a Lego train set but the price would have been more but it’s a good set you can push it on rails if you have them the engine has a part where you push this part down and it releases the wheels so you can make the wheels turn on the track or leave the said piece and the wheels don’t move about so you can push it on the carpet or floor without it going all over the place good idea with the platform and figures well worth it I got another carriage to make mine longer and you can get motors to make it power up if you wish I give it a 👍up
