My partner and I bought this together and assembled it together over a few days. We took our time with it and enjoyed every minute. The first thing to note is the weight of it when it arrives. There’s so much Lego! It comes in 37 bags and there are 4 quite thick instruction books. The design of it is very well thought out and there are so many tiny details that it’s clearly been done by people who both love Lego and Harry Potter. For example, I love the way the stained glass windows are put together and how they look when they’re finished. When finished there are two large halves which kind of slot together. I ended up replacing a couple of pieces with some of my own to make it click together and hold together a little bit but overall it’s a fantastic lego set. Just make sure to check the dimensions so that you’ll have somewhere big enough to put it. All sides of it are good to look at as the outside of the castle looks good as well as all the details on the inside so you really want to be able to look at it from all angles. It’s quite expensive, but worth it if you’re a Lego and a Harry Potter fan.

only about one or two pieces were missing but luckily weren’t big detailed showing parts.

A long awaited gift for an advanced lego and Harry Potter fan. Box is very big and heavy and clearly a substantial set. As always with Lego, pieces and instructions are well organised. Price is good compared to other retailers, cheapest I’ve seen. Very impressed!
